Facebook shows us that accounts belonging to Poles in the United Kingdom are over 700,000. The most numerous group of immigrants are people aged 31-40 with 320,000 Polish women and men. The smallest group are people aged 51 or older. Their number of facebook accounts is estimated at 55,000.
Interesting are the proportions of ladies to men in each group. Two younger groups, 18-30 years and 31-40 years old, show more or less similar results, with a small surplus of men. Things are different in groups 41-50 and 51+. Here the female/male ratio differs significantly. The number of women (48%) is slightly less than that of men in the age group from 41 to 50 years, but is much higher (55%) in the age group from 51+.
